Curry Corner: A Culinary Trip Across Borders

When you step into Curry Corner, you embark on a culinary voyage that takes you thousands of miles away from Tempe, Arizona, right into the heart of the Indian Subcontinent. Our menu is a vibrant tapestry woven from the rich flavors of Indian and Pakistani cuisines, presenting a kaleidoscope of exotic tastes to our patrons.

Our journey began in 2000, with a mission to bring the authentic tastes of our homeland to the people of Tempe. We were driven by a passion for our culture and the desire to share our love for our cuisine with a wider audience. The recipes we use have been passed down through generations, each dish telling a story of its own, infused with traditions that date back centuries.

No journey across the subcontinent would be complete without savoring a serving of Biryani. This dish allegedly has its roots in the royal kitchens of the Mughal Empire. Our Biryani at Curry Corner is an enchanting mix of aromatic basmati rice, a symphony of spices, and your choice of tender meat, vegetables, or seafood, cooked to perfection. Each grain of rice is infused with a unique blend of spices, delivering an explosion of flavors with every bite. Our Butter Chicken, also known as Chicken Makhani, takes you on a different culinary path, leading you to the Punjabi kitchens in the northern part of India. Its rich, buttery sauce coupled with the tender, marinated chicken creates a symphony of flavors that’s hard to resist.

One of our most loved dishes, the Chicken Tikka Masala, transports you straight to the bustling streets of Delhi, although it rumored to have originated in the United Kingdom. Its creamy tomato base, seasoned with an aromatic blend of spices, perfectly complements the tender pieces of chicken, making it a hit with our customers.

Then we have our Tandoori Grilled Chicken. This bone-in chicken is marinated in a blend of yogurt and distinctive spices, grilled to perfection in a traditional tandoor, a type of clay oven that imparts a smoky flavor to the dish.
